Marriage Ministry
Marriage Ministry
The Marriage Ministry, and Marriage Retreat, is our flagship extension ministry, and is where our motto “Anointed to Make a Difference” was created. It is in the marriage ministry that God first began to use Apostle Marshall and Pastor Sharon by winning couples and their families to Christ and adding them to churches long before there was a Shabach Outreach Ministries Christian Church. The Lord impressed upon their hearts the simple truth that strong marriages build strong families, and strong families build strong churches. Upon seeking wisdom and counsel with regard to starting Shabach, they were told “As goes the home, so goes the Church ”.
The Marriage Ministry should yield the most fruit of all other extension ministries; every couple and every person in the church knows of or has individuals in their families, on their jobs, etc., whose marriages are in trouble and are in need of God’s saving grace in their lives. Shabach is full of couples who have been helped and whose marriages have been saved through this powerful aspect of the ministry. Couples have been saved, marriages have been saved and empowered, and churches have been started through this blessed work. We are indeed “Anointed to Make a Difference”. Our annual Marriage Retreat is held in September.
