Youth Ministry

We will not raise a generation that knew not the Lord!  The goal of the Youth Ministry is to raise and develop a generation and army of junior Christians who read the word of God regularly and have a biblical basis for all their behavior.  We want our youth to develop a dynamic love and appreciation for a God who loved them so much that He gave His only begotten Son, so that through their faith in Jesus they could have eternal life.  We accomplish our goal by building a strong spiritual foundation built on the knowledge of God’s word.  We teach them the practical use of God’s word which will enable them to be in this world, but not of it.  We do this while having fun, never forgetting that they are young believers. 

Part of our holistic effort is involving the whole family in the worship experience. Each 3rd Sunday of the month, children in the Youth Sunday School class, ages 7 – 18, participate in the worship service by doing the prayer, scripture reading, announcements, and a mini sermon exhortation.
